VVA's untiring efforts on behalf of America's veterans have consistently championed exemplary causes. And the record clearly shows that we make a difference.

Who we are

VVA was founded in 1978. Its congressional charter was granted in 1986, and it remains the only veterans service organization devoted exclusively to improving the lives of those who served in uniform during this nation's longest and most divisive war.

As the leading Vietnam veterans advocate, VVA provides support and assistance in securing benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs. VVA plays an active role in government relations advocacy at the federal and state levels to improve benefits and services available to our nation's veterans.
